Giving back has always been part of who we are as individuals and as a team. We believe that when you’re fortunate enough to work in a community you love, you show up for it in meaningful ways.

Kristi has long believed that real estate is about more than houses — it’s about people, opportunity, and care for the places we all share. That belief has guided our team’s involvement in organizations that support families, children, animals, and neighbors in need, including Rotary International, Annapolis Green, Habitat for Humanity, Walk the Walk Foundation, Grace Bomb, Blood Drives for the Annapolis Hospital, Alzheimer’s Assoc, the SPCA, Oyster Recovery Project, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, among many others.

Our commitment extends beyond donations. As a green-minded business, we’ve taken intentional steps to reduce our environmental footprint and help our clients do the same. From providing energy audits for buyers of low-efficiency homes to planting trees after every home sale, we strive to protect the waterways, neighborhoods, and natural beauty that make this area so special. 

Community connection also means bringing people together. The team founded Movies for Miracles, an outdoor movie night created to raise funds for local causes while creating moments of joy and togetherness. Over the years, this event has raised thousands of dollars for organizations like the Oyster Recovery Partnership, the SPCA of Anne Arundel County, Mission 14, and families navigating serious medical challenges. 

Kristi’s passion for advocacy reaches beyond our local community as well. In recent years, she participated in a fundraising climb of Mount Kilimanjaro to help raise awareness and funds to combat human trafficking. The effort helped raise over $30,000 to support training for law enforcement and the identification and rescue of victims — a reminder that meaningful change often begins with showing up, even when it’s hard. 

At the heart of all of this is a simple belief: when people trust us with their homes, they become part of our story — and we take that seriously. Giving back is our way of honoring that trust and investing in the community that allows us to do what we love every day.
